North Wales artist Jean Morgan Roberts, was born in the historic town of Conwy North Wales at the old Grade II* listed Black Lion Pub in Castle Street, just across the road in fact, from her Conwy gallery and within spitting distance of Conwy Castle!

Welsh artist Jean is a Conwy girl though and through, much of her childhood was spent roaming the shores and woodland of Conwy.

Filled with a passion for the wild birds that she watched gliding over the river Conwy, her need to capture their beautiful colours and form, was strong and aged eleven, she started to paint and she really didn't stop!, Her passion for capturing North Wales in all its glory continues spreading further afield in her quest for inspiration and new ideas to places such as Ecuador, Patagonia, Chile, Brazil, Bulgaria and The Galapagos Isles to name but a few.
