  Snowdon in Winter

Its all down to colours, breathtaking moments that unless you see them yourself seem fairy tale, unbelievable.

Conwy Castle & Bridge are often shaded in this blueish hue, whilst the town catches highlights of white.

  Snowdon from Crib Coch

The Blue of Llyn Llydaw gives a concept of it's depth, and from this angle the view towards Porthmadoc & Tremadog Bay is amazing.

Family on Conwy Beach

There was a castle on the Vardre before Conwy was considered. A lovely backdrop for this happy family scene.

Swallow Falls

Betws y Coed

This has to be one of the prettiest falls in the North Wales area, spring, summer, autumn or winter its stunning, making it difficult to choose which colours to paint it in.

  Britannia Bridge

Not visited or as well known as its sister bridge, Menai, nevertheless still quite formidable, and not as easy to paint as the Menai Straits, and I like it from this angle. Painted late afternoon as the light looses its blues for pink hues.

  Waterloo Bridge

Betws Y Coed

Obviously named because it was built the same date as battle of Waterloo . Again most people drive over this without seeing it and as one needs to leave the car and walk into the field opposite the petrol station, not many do. I love the roses adoring the ironwork under the eaves of the bridge.

  Conwy Falls - Penmacho

This has to be the most difficult commissions I have ever untaken. I think, because the falls divides between the centre rocks, leaving one stream of calm water the other wild, before stirring wildly again. The trees along side the falls remain tall and strong, again difficult to convey their true height on a piece of paper.

£350

  Conwy Castle & Bridge

This was painted from the end of the Cob, classic angle to capture the beauty of this fine 13 th century castle. At this time of day, always in the shade.

The Vadre from Conwy

With Deganwy, Vardre and Marina in the distance, the moored yachts and pleasure boats gie this busy quayside its colour. You can almost hear the masts tinkle in the breeze.
